AQUIND welcomes the decision of the Infrastructure and Projects Authority and HM Treasury to include AQUIND Interconnector in the latest National Infrastructure and Construction Pipeline.

The relevant report identifies interconnectors as one of UK Government’s key “priority investments” in the national infrastructure.

Benefits of AQUIND Interconnector have been recognised by the UK Government, which has designated AQUIND as a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project, and by the European Commission, which has awarded it the Project of Common Interest status.
